1 UNDER THE MOONBASE, IN A CAVERN!
1 Twice, after a number of nasties have been dispatched, there is a timed docking sequence. Successfully completing this increases your fire power. Once nine attack waves (6 types) have beenzapped, the game repeats itself at a faster pace.
   1 Transmat jammers. The
1 Throughout your quest youare constantly being attacked by two vicious characters. But, unlike Willy, Bruce can defend himself with kicks and punches. Your opponents are stick wielding Ninja and the Green Yamo (he looks white to me!).
1 This, the third episode of the Wally week saga, introduces Wally's familyand friends, collectivelyknown as The Gang. The object of the game is forWally to pay the gang's wages. But where is he going to find the money?
1 This is a faithful copy of the original arcade version of the game. High scorers can even enter a competition to win an original machine. This does seem a little redundant as the Spectrumversion seems to be just about as good.
   1 There is a shelter NORTH(ish). ":
1 There are eight types of alien, each with its own mode of attack . The gamehas pretensions to being 3D. The illusion is basedon a smooth scrolling grid of dots and is far from convincing. In fact the graphics could do with improving all round.
1 The program can display the distribution of weapons on the map and list the basic details ofrange, accuracy, and numbers. I could not persuade Mr. Heseltine toconfirm the program's accuracy on Polaris! It is still impressive.
1 The principal use for theprogram will be as the basis for role playing games on disarmament negotiations for 2 to 5 players or teams. The programming is fair and the documentation is excellent. A worthwhile classroom package.
1 The main part of World Wise is a world atlas which includes over 130 nations. The atlas can beaddressed by a country's name (picked from a menu)or with a cursor. Maps can also be magified by up to 9 times, although without improving detail.
1 The animation is fast andsmooth. There is a good variety of control over Bruce. There is also a two player option in which one player controlsBruce while the other takes the part of Yamo. The agressive Willy idea works surprisingly well.
1 The alien's actions are fast and frantic, but alasvery predictable and easily prey to the more adept fire button pusher. This drama unfolds beforea scrolling backdrop of multicoloured stars whichbecome monochrome as the aliens corrupt them.
